Louise was born into a family of artists. Her mother and father both worked in the comic book industry. In her childhood, she was immersed in the world of drawing, painting and color. She studied at Hunter College on a Merit Scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She then went on to take various design and illustration classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology and School of Visual Arts.
For most of her career, she has worked in the handbag industry, with an emphasis on illustration, computer graphics, textile design, presentation CADs, planograms, product design and fashion research.
After taking a branding course at the School of Visual Arts, she has now decided to pivot into graphic design and branding. She completed a mentorship program with Justin Jackson of Mia/Hunter. He helped her shape the Dreamtutor case study and gave her valuable pointers for presenting her website portfolio.
